Understanding the Expansion of Medicaid and Managed Care [Infographic]

Since the passage of the Affordable Care Act, 37 states have expanded Medicaid coverage for a total of almost 54 million enrollees. Many states are also utilizing Managed Care Organization contracts to focus on social determinants of health and improve care coordination and claims processing.
